Women in Science and Engineering (WISE)
Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) focuses on professional development for all students and outreach events to educate youth.
For example, members present at area high schools to inform students of the numerous opportunities that exist in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).
Introduce a Girl to Engineering Night is the biggest outreach event and continues to grow exponentially each year. Each spring, more than 500 girls ages 3-13 attend the event at St. Ambrose University and take part in activities that teach them about engineering.
